Privacy scope

YEPS! ® GmbH takes the privacy of our users very seriously. This privacy statement explains to our users about the nature, scope and purpose of the collection and use of personal data by the responsible provider of ROBOMANIAC®, hereinafter referred to as ‘offer’, an online game of YEPS! ® GmbH, hereinafter referred to as “providers”) on. The legal basis of data protection can be found in the Federal Data Protection Act (Act) and the Telemedia Act (TMG).

Access data / server logfiles

The provider (or his internet provider) collects data on each access to the offer (so-called server log files). The access data includes: name of the website, file, date and time of access, amount of data transferred, notification of successful retrieval, browser type along with version, the operating system of the user, referrer URL (previously visited), IP address and the requesting provider.

The provider uses the data only for statistical purposes, for the purpose of operation, security and the optimization of the offer. Vendor maintains the right however, to check the log information later if there is reasonable suspicion of unlawful use from concrete indications.

Handling of personal data

Personal information is information that will render a person identifiable, i.e. information that can be traced back to a person. This includes, in particular, the e-mail address and username. Personal data will only be collected from the provider, used and passed on, if permitted by law or the user consents to the data collection.


While contacting the provider (for example, using the contact form or e-mail), the information of the user is stored for the purpose of processing the request and in the event that questions in connection arise.

Comments and contributions

When users leave comments in the game, forum, blog or other contributions, their IP addresses are stored. This is done for security of the provider, if someone makes wrongful comments or content contributions (insults, banned political propaganda, etc.). In this case, the provider may be prosecuted for the comment or post and is therefore interested in the identity of the author. The provider is prompted by the authorities to consider content of its offerings. This provider will comply with this requirement.


The newsletter of the provider informs its users about updates and deals. If you want to receive the newsletter, we require a valid e-mail address and information that allows us to verify that you are the owner of the e-mail address or that its owner agrees to receive the newsletter. Further data is not collected. These data are used only for sending the newsletter and will not be disclosed to third parties.

By registering for the newsletter the provider stores IP address, email address and date of registration. This storage is used solely as evidence in the case that a third party abuses an e-mail address and logs in without the knowledge of the person entitled to receive the newsletter.

The consent to the storage of data, e-mail address and their use for sending the newsletter, may be revoked by the user at any time. The revocation can be made via link in the newsletter itself, in the profile area or by sending a message to the above contact details.

If permitted by the user, information will be stored, processed, and used to send information and advertising on browser games (products and services). Consent for this purpose, may be revoked by the user at any time in writing (for example, by e-mail) without incurring any costs, apart from the costs of transmitting the revocation.

Integration of services and content of third parties

It is possible that within the range of third-party content, such as YouTube videos, RSS feeds or graphics will be incorporated from other websites. This always assumes that the provider of such content (hereinafter referred to as “third-party”) acknowledge the IP address of the user. Without the IP address, they can not send the content to the browser of the user. The IP address is therefore necessary for the presentation of that content. The provider strives to only use such content, whose respective providers use the IP address only for the delivery of content. However, the provider has no influence on whether the third party stores an IP address, for example, for statistical purposes. Insofar as it may be known, the user will be advised.


Cookies are small files that make it possible to store specific information related to the accessing device of the user (PC, smartphone, etc.). They are used for one to improve the usability of online services, and thus the user experience (for example, storing login data). By integrating the plugin Facebook receives information that a user has accessed the corresponding page of the offer. If the user is logged into Facebook, Facebook can assign the visit to their Facebook account. When users interact with the plugins, for example, pressing the Like button or commenting, the corresponding information from your browser is sent directly to Facebook and stored there. If a user is not a member of Facebook, there is a possibility that Facebook will capture the IP address store it in its memory. This offer uses the Twitter service buttons. These buttons are offered by Twitter Inc., 795 Folsom St., Suite 600, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. They can be identified by terminology such as “Twitter” or “Follow”, connected to a sytlized blue bird. Using the buttons, it is possible to share a post or page of this offer on Twitter or follow the provider on Twitter.

When a user visits a web page of this website which contains such a button, the browser creates a direct connection to the servers of Twitter. The content of the Twitter buttons is transmitted from Twitter directly to the user’s browser. The provider therefore has no impact on the amount of data that Twitter collects using this plugin does and informs the user according to their knowledge. According to them, the only the IP address of the user and the URL of the relevant website in terms of the buttons is transmitted, but not used for other purposes than the display of the buttons.
